2727 De Anza Road, San Diego, CA 92109, on De Anza Cove
Mission Bay RV Resort
EV friendly: we charged the truck at the 50-amp pedestal. Written for every camper, trailer, RV or tent, with the EV charging answer up front.

Can you charge an EV here? Yes · 50-amp
The 50-amp full-hookup sites can charge an electric truck at the pedestal, about 9.6 kW at 40 amps, with room to dial the current down and run the camper air conditioning at the same time. We plugged in here. Same ownership as Campland on the Bay and the same answer at the pedestal: we charged with no issue.

Full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service, a pool, one hot tub, and a game room beside it with a spot to watch movies. Laundry, 24-hour security, and a beach right on De Anza Cove. Bike and pedestrian trails run through the property, including a path that links straight over to Campland. Trader Joe's is about three miles for a real grocery run. The sites are the standout: big enough to spread out, and big enough for a club to park together. One thing you cannot miss: the empty stretch next door looks like wasted space on waterfront this good. It is the old De Anza mobile home park. The residents left by 2016 after a long fight with the city and the land has sat vacant since, and in August 2026 the Coastal Commission approved the De Anza Natural plan, which turns the cove into restored wetlands over a process the city says could run twenty years or more, with a smaller camping and RV footprint kept in the plan. Nothing closes tomorrow, but it is worth knowing what the view across the fence is about.
Our take
Relaxed is the word. The sites are huge, with real space between rigs, which is not something we say often on Mission Bay. It is the sister park to Campland on the Bay and a completely different animal: no party scene, just people at their sites with a campfire going, barbecuing, hanging out. There is a pool and one hot tub, and a game room near it with a place to watch movies. The location is the whole argument. Get on a bike and you can ride to Mission Bay, Fiesta Island, Ocean Beach, or La Jolla. We rode to dinner at the Mission Bay Beach Club, and out to the Fiesta Island dog park, where we got to watch the boat races. We came with the San Diego Airstream Club, which gets a group discount, and three nights ran $268, about $89 a night. Eight out of ten, and the two reasons are the size of the sites and where it puts you.
Heads upThe rack rate climbs fast here, so follow the park on Facebook for coupons and come with a club if you can. Our San Diego Airstream Club group rate worked out to about $89 a night, which is not what you would pay walking up in summer.
