Wattreach is a personal journal about electric-vehicle travel that also runs a small workshop. This page is the deal: what reading the site means, and what buying from the Workshop gets you. Questions go to hello@wattreach.com.
The site itself
Everything published here - trip logs, range data, comparisons, opinions - is our own experience, offered as-is. It is not professional advice about vehicles, towing, electrical work, or anything else, and real-world results (range most of all) will differ from ours. The content, photographs, and design belong to Wattreach; read, link, and share freely, but republishing wholesale requires permission. Do not scrape the site for commercial use, probe non-public areas, or interfere with its availability.
Workshop purchases
Checkout is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. For physical items, shipping details are collected at checkout and a tracking number follows when the parcel ships. If something arrives damaged or never arrives, write to us and we will make it right.
STL downloads and their license
A digital Workshop purchase is a license, not a transfer: you get the file and the right to print it for personal use - your own vehicles, your own gear, as many personal copies as you like. The license (also included in the download's README) does not permit selling the files, selling prints of them, or redistributing the files publicly. Because a download cannot be returned, digital sales are final once the file is delivered; if a file is corrupt or will not slice, tell us and we will fix or replace it.
3D-printed parts: your printer, your judgment
A printable file is geometry, not a finished product. The strength of what comes off your printer depends on your machine, material, and settings - none of which are ours. Printed parts from Workshop files are not safety equipment: do not rely on them to secure loads, support weight beyond their obvious purpose, or replace rated hardware. You are responsible for inspecting anything you print before trusting it, and to the extent Wisconsin law allows, we are not liable for damage arising from printed parts or from use of the site. Where a warranty cannot be disclaimed, it lasts the minimum period the law requires.
Affiliate and referral links
Some links on the site are affiliate or referral links, disclosed in the privacy policy. They never change the price you pay, and the destination site's own terms apply once you arrive there.
Changes, and governing law
We may revise these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it. These terms are governed by Wisconsin law.
