    Canyonlands NP, Mesa Arch (sunrise)

    Be at the trailhead by first light. 0.6-mi paved loop. The arch glows from below at sunrise, the single most photographed frame in the canyon.

    Canyonlands NP, Grand View Point

    End of the Island in the Sky paved road. 360° view of the confluence of the Green and Colorado rivers, 1,000 ft below.

    Dead Horse Point State Park

    Sister overlook on the way back to Moab. Day-use fee, ~$20.

    Arches NP, Delicate Arch Trail (sunset)

    Descends this leg −1,150 ft

    3-mi round-trip, +480 ft. Bring water + headlamp. Delicate Arch at sunset is the entire reason you came to Utah.
